Chiropractor (Contract, 6–12 Weeks) — Spine Care Center
Location: 1649 W Antelope Dr, Layton UT
Employment Type: Contract / Independent Contractor (approximately 6–12 weeks, with possible extension)
Schedule: [Full-Time]
About Us
At Advanced Spinal Rehabilitation, we specialize in non-surgical treatment of spinal conditions, helping patients recover from bulging and herniated discs and avoid surgery whenever possible. Our patient-centered, conservative-care approach puts hands-on clinicians at the heart of every recovery. We give our providers the time, tools, and autonomy to do their best work — and we treat both our patients and our team like people, not numbers.
About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed Chiropractor for a short-term contract engagement of approximately 6–12 weeks to provide patient care at our spine care center. This is an excellent fit for a chiropractor looking for flexible, temporary work — whether covering a leave, filling a seasonal need, or bridging between opportunities. You’ll step into an established practice with a steady patient flow, working alongside our physician, nurse practitioner, and physical therapist to deliver high-quality, non-surgical spine care. Depending on clinic needs and mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to extend the engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with spinal and musculoskeletal conditions, including bulging and herniated discs.
- Perform chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies as part of individualized, non-surgical treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the physician, nurse practitioner, and physical therapist to coordinate cohesive patient care.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment goals, and long-term spine health.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
- Ensure all care complies with clinical best practices, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
- Current, valid Utah chiropractic license in good standing.
- Current malpractice insurance, or eligibility to obtain coverage.
- Experience treating spinal conditions and musculoskeletal patients preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to step into an established practice and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation:
- Contract rate: $1400/week
Note: As a contract position, this role does not include employee benefits (health insurance, PTO, retirement). The contractor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance.
Why Join Us:
- A mission that matters. Help patients avoid surgery and reclaim their lives through conservative, evidence-based spine care.
- Flexibility. A defined 6–12 week engagement with flexible scheduling — ideal for locum-style work, covering a gap, or supplementing your practice.
- Step into a working practice. Join an established clinic with steady patient flow — no need to build your own caseload.
- A collaborative team. Work directly alongside a physician, nurse practitioner, and physical therapist in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
- Modern facilities. Well-equipped treatment space [mention specific technology — e.g., spinal decompression tables] and a friendly, professional team.
